| We have been on the end-user side and on the supplier side of tooling projects and know what works well and is needed. We are ready to work with you to deliver your project on time, within budget and of the highest possible quality. We are located in Mid-Coast Maine in an 8,000 square foot plant ideally suited for our purpose. The newest addition to Janseneering, Inc. is our Thermwood 5-Axis CNC profiling machine that came online in August of 2008. It has a working envelope of 15'L X 10'W X 6'H. This adds to the two other 5-axis machines that have working envelopes of 30’L X 15’W X 6’H and 10’L X 5’W X 30”H. This machine comes with the most current high precision engineering with enough horsepower and rigidity to machine aluminum. With the addition of this machine we are more able to meet the higher tolerance requirements demanded of the automotive and aerospace markets. In addition to parts that can be machined in a single piece on any of our machines, Janseneering has produced large molds and plugs, such as those for a 52’ sailboat deck and a 98’ sailboat deck, as well as long windblades and 190’ long masts for competition sailboats. We are able to accomplish this by machining matched, smaller sections that are accurately assembled to produce the complete part. |
